Ulus: The Heart of Ankara from a Foreigner Perspective

A photo-essay that explores the vibrant and historically rich district of Ulus in Ankara, Turkey. Through ten evocative images, this essay captures the essence of Ulus, highlighting its unique blend of commercial vitality and deep historical roots. This project, initiated in November 2018, aims to provide an authentic and genuine portrayal of Ulus, showcasing the area’s cultural significance and the everyday lives of its inhabitants from a foreigner’s perspective.

A Form of Sound

An innovative exhibition that merges visual and aural arts to create a unique sensory experience. This exhibition features Soundscape Style Photography, where each photograph is paired with a live ambient sound recording, providing viewers with an immersive narrative of Ankara’s Ataturk Boulevard. By combining light, sound, and still images, “A Form of Sound” offers a multi-layered exploration of memory and environment, inviting each visitor to engage with the art in a deeply personal way.
